Luthor & Viktor, the Fourth Borns
For what Luthor and Viktor lack in a resistance to sunlight and extra-sensory abilities they make up for with a vast metamorphosism. Their innate understanding of how to manipulate their cellular structure supercedes that of all the other Ancients. Their grasp of it's practical (and impractical) uses is phenomenal.
Viktor and Luthor, twin brothers, shared a very strict bond between them, as most twins do, but theirs was heightened by their vampirism. Luthor took to his metamorphic ability like a fish takes to water. Viktor, on the other hand, could never seem to get a grasp on it's rampantness. Eventually, it overtook him. He couldn't gather his will enough to hold himself into any permanent shape and was eventually driven quite insane. Losing any and all reasoning ability Viktor degenerated into a gibbering shape-shifting monstrosity after a number of years of struggling with his metamorphosism. The other Ancients decided that Viktor needed to be put down. They couldn't allow such a thing to reproduce, and so the task fell to Luthor, for he wouldn't allow anyone else to do it. Despite Viktor's termination he still managed to reproduce a number of times before his madness overwhelmed him and thus his particular bloodline still exists to the current day. Those of his degenerative bloodline all fall prey to the madness eventually, and are dubbed The Ravagers by the rest of the vampires. They are mindless, bloodthirsty, and quite uncontrollable.
After murdering his own brother Luthor left the other Ancients to their own devices and went out on his own, forsaking the company of man (and un-man) in his grief. It was he who stumbled upon the first werewolves. Created in much the same way as the Ancients were. The chromosomal changes within them granted them a higher intelligience and a varying degrees of extra-sensory abilities.. and, of course, metamorphosism. Using his own metamorphosism Luthor changed himself into a wolf (however large it might have been) and proclaimed himself the alpha werewolf. The true werewolves were skeptical of him at first, and the current alpha demanded a fair fight to decide if Luthor would out-rule him as the current Alpha. Suffice to say Luthor won the battle and the werewolves have followed his lead ever since.
